And, Finally, Their split with Tortyr, Tortyr play swedish crust, Think Skitsystem and Totalt Jävla Mörker, But slower. Of course, I suck at explaining things so just listen and you will understand. I'll post Tortyrs album here too, For those who like what they hear. Warvictims Myspace Tortyrs Myspace Download
Warvictims, Don't know how to start. If you had to put them into a genre it would be the usual d-beat crust hardcore scene, like so many others. What is especially great with these I do not know, but I like them.Guess you have to listen for yourself!
Grindcore from sweden, need I say more? Although the crappy recordings, they are pretty good. As the title says, it is 99 songs, most of them are not over 30 seconds. http://www.myspace.com/pervertedconditions
Dystopia, is a crust punk band, their lyrics often deal with human emotion and social or political issues such as enviromentalism, racial equality, animan rights, and veganism. They come from california, U.S.A. Formed in 1991. Don't know very much more about them but enjoy!
Acursed. What can I say? Probably one of the best bands I am listening to right now. Have always loved their music and lyrics, and this time is no exception. They have some songs in English too, but to really understand all the texts you probably need to be Swedish, or have a Swedish close, however, strongly recommend this album to all.
The gloomy crustcore from the cold north of sweden as they call themselfes. Personkrets 3:1 came from Umeå, northern Sweden, and existed between 2003 and 2007. Really good classic swedish crust, if you like; Acursed, M:40 and Totalt Jävla Mörker, then you probably like these too. Did a bunch records and EP's: - ”Kampen mot livet”, demo CDr [Halvkass Produktions, 2003] - split EP with HUMAN WASTE, 7” vinyl [Halvfabrikat Records, 2004] - ”Life is beautiful”, 10” vinyl [Halvfabrikat Records, 2005] - ”Life is beautiful” + bonus songs, tape [Phobia Rec, 2005] - ”The Glorious Dead”, LP/CD [Halvfabrikat/Fight/Blinddead/FFYM, 2006] - "Ruiner", 7" [Halvfabrikat, 2007] If anyone like this album I urge you to purchase it or others from Halvfabrikat Records
Contravene is probably one of the best anarcho-punk bands ever, in my view. They have a girl on vocals and comes from Arizona, USA It's probably all I know about them. Listen and enjoy.
Nausea is a band that is difficult to define, I will confine myself to that I like practically all their songs, you'll have to listen and see. Also the first non-swedish band posted here. Finally.
Sportlov is a Black Metal band from Uppsala, Sweden. Their texts consists of winter sports including skiing and curling. They play fast and true as hell!
This is the last demo with Hotbild i got, but it sounds like its their first, based on the equipment. If anyone have more demos too share or have information about the band or anything just post a comment! enjoy!
The band Hotbild is probably the best crust band I've heard in a long time, they play some kind of blackened crust, hard to describe but clearly worthwhile to listen to / buy their demos.
Not quite sure which album that came first but here is the second or third album with Martyrdöd, a great album as usual, continues with the dark crust with hints of black metal, definitely one of the better crust albums that is.
Martyrdöd is yet another Swedish band, has become many Swedish bands lately, They play some sort of darker crust, with a lot of elements of black metal, although I myself is not such a big fan of black metal, I think Martyrdöd mixing the two styles in a very professional way.
One of the better Swedish bands I am listening to right now is Warcollapse, With their album Defy! in top, in my view. fast D-Beat with a few little slower songs. Download
Arbetarklassen is a band from Eskilstuna, Sweden. Playing D-Beat, Raw Swedish ''Mangel''. Probably deserves more credit than what has time to give them right now. certainly worth listening to.
